The server also has a huge 288GB DDR3 memory capacity, 4 PCI-E ports, and is powered by dual PSUs rated at up to 5600W, which use Energy Smart technologies and appropriately scaled efficient power supply units to decrease power consumption while improving performance capacity.
The server comes equipped with a Broadcom or Intel integrated network controller, with optional upgrades, and a broad range of RAID controller choices, including PERC H200, H700, H800, I and 6/e. An Intel QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) connection provides additional connectivity.
